About The Position

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is currently searching for an experienced and talented Senior Project Manager to join our amazing Project Management team! The Senior Project Manager will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule (remote/onsite) after a period of training (time frame may vary). Training will take place at the RBFCU Administrative Service Center: 1 Ikea-RBFCU Pkwy, Live Oak, Texas 78233. All applicants must reside within the state of Texas and have the capability of performing all of the work from their home in Texas. To successfully work from home, employees must have access to a minimum internet connection as noted by RBFCU. Must have a reliable home internet provider and the ability to hard wire a connection directly to modem (Ethernet cable provided). Must be able to provide a workspaces at home that is safe, suitable for work, and within a distraction free environment The Senior Project Manager is a lead position that will provide servant leadership for a variety of strategic program and project types to plan, lead, execute, and finalize projects according to approved scope, deadlines, and budgets. Additionally, this role will provide coaching and mentoring for project managers on methodology, framework, and PPM best practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years formal predictive and/or Agile project management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years financial institution experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) in good standing
  • Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster (CSP-SM) in good standing
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, time management, organization and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office and PPM Administration proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and guidance for project managers on methodology, framework, and PPM best practices
  • Serve as traditional Project Manager or Agile Scrum Master for cross-functional programs and projects to achieve approved project scope and deadlines for enterprise projects
  • Create, establish and actively manage the project plan, schedules, project resources (internal and external), and requirements (internal and external) ensuring alignment with organization objectives
  • Identify, document and actively manage project issues resolution, risks mitigation, and changes to scope, timelines, and/or budget
  • Diligently serve on behalf of the project team to remove obstacles that prevent them from successfully delivering the project
  • Prepare and communicate progress and project status reports for stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Provide monthly executive milestone updates
  • Ensure the creation and project team approval of documentation to enable implementation and transition to maintenance support
  • Conduct mid- and post-project evaluations (i.e. Sprint retrospective and project lessons learned)
  • Perform administration of the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system
  • Provide Project Management and PPM mentoring and best practices to team and organization
