About The Position

At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe. Position Summary We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Light & Wonder team. The person will manage the Game Development Projects in Chicago Illinois related to the Class 3 Gaming markets that Light & Wonder provides software for. They will report into the Sr. Director position. The Project Management function specializes in leading a team, typically cross-functional, to achieve project goals and requirements. Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project; manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks and other constraints. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Works directly with multiple development leads and external Operations/Service teams. Develops detailed development schedules for assigned projects. Conducts regular status meetings and daily stand-ups with the Dev and Quality teams. Tracks, monitors and reports project progress. Responsible for the effective internal and external communication of information related to projects. Creates presentations and generates metric reports/charts for upper management. This is an hybrid role, 3 days a week in office based at our studio in Chicago, IL. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Experience: A minimum of 5 years operations, product or project management experience. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Ability to multi-task anywhere from 15-30 projects per week. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret gaming rules and regulations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external personnel. Excellent inter-personal and team building skills. Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management. Knowledge of project management tools and processes. Knowledge and understanding of project budgeting. Knowledge of Oracle’s Agile PLM product and Oracle ERP. General knowledge of Class 3 Gaming architecture and ancillary components preferred. Ability to motivate others.
