About The Position

The Senior Project Manager at Arcadis is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of mission-critical vertical construction projects from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods. This role involves managing various aspects of construction projects, including safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and client relations, ensuring successful execution in an industrial environment.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Expertise in managing resources, including budgets, schedules, and materials in a competitive environment.
  • Experience with vertical, design-build project delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in Heavy Industrial, Laboratory, and/or Oil & Gas/Refinery projects.
  • CMAA (CCM), PE, RA, or PMP license/certification.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods.
  • Manage construction project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, and documentation turnover.
  • Work with multidisciplinary technical leads to execute projects in design and construction.
  • Participate in design review meetings and provide input on constructability, scope, and cost changes.
  • Prepare detailed estimates, cost code input, and cost control systems.
  • Prepare bid packages, analyze bids, qualify subcontractors, and award subcontracts and major purchase orders.
  • Plan, sequence, and schedule the project with input from clients and contractors.
  • Direct the project schedule, conduct job site meetings, and prepare updated schedules.
  • Manage project cost control, including labor cost reports and project status summaries.
  • Direct requirements for permits, inspections, and final project approval with A/E.
  • Manage client relations, including progress meetings, correspondence, and change orders.
  • Prepare and secure owner acceptance of contract change orders and update budgets accordingly.
  • Represent Arcadis as a safety leader and advocate onsite, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Review and monitor project progress, quality, and safety, making corrections as needed.
  • Direct project close-out tasks and warranty work.
  • Work independently to solve complex problems related to cost and schedule management.
