Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall management and execution of turnkey electrical projects. The PM is also asked to support the sales team, senior project managers and regional manager during the front-end sales process to ensure a seamless transition from quote into execution. We have multiple PM openings available at Eaton, you could be considered for either our West region or Southeast region depending on your location.

  • Provide project management expertise in electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical aspects of large Turnkey Electrical Projects.
  • Support teams of designers, engineers, construction managers and electrical/civil/mechanical contractors.
  • Implement project financial controls.
  • Manage project profit, loss, and forecast.
  • Manage project scope changes.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Create, prioritize and maintain project action item list.
  • Maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
  • Execute turnkey projects.
  • Provide construction estimating and sales support.
  • Manage design teams.
  • Improve subcontractor inefficiencies.
  • Manage subcontractor budgets.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and program.
  • Maintain accurate as-built documentation and punch-lists.
  • Document control experience and expertise.
  • BS or AS in civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project Scheduling software.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Electrical SWGR / Power Distribution, Power System Engineering, Automation, and Controls.
  • Strong computer skills - SharePoint, OneNote, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must be located in CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, UT, CO, ID for the West Region or NC, SC, FL, GA, TN or KY for the Southeast Region.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
  • Collaborative & People-Focused.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Highly organized and skilled in time management.
  • Background in construction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, ANSI, NETA, NERC/FERC, NESC.
