Northeast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities. The Senior Project Manager manages the timely coordination and accomplishment of all assigned facility construction projects. Specific duties include estimating, bid solicitation and award, project permitting, materials take-off and buyout, shop drawing review, project organizational planning, scheduling, pay request/invoice processing, project change orders, project cost report updating, owner furniture, fixture and equipment interface coordination, project close-out, final agency sign off, owner move-in, and coordination of departmental office/field support operations. The Senior PM shall also manage internal direct reports from other Project Managers and maintenance staff, chair and manage the Space Planning program, and oversee those construction projects.

  • Manage all assigned facility construction projects.
  • Estimate project costs and prepare bid documents.
  • Solicit and award bids for construction projects.
  • Coordinate project permitting with local municipalities.
  • Review shop drawings and manage project organizational planning.
  • Schedule project timelines and manage pay requests/invoice processing.
  • Update project cost reports and manage change orders.
  • Coordinate owner furniture, fixture, and equipment interface.
  • Oversee project close-out and final agency sign off.
  • Manage internal direct reports and oversee Space Planning projects.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Background in architecture or building construction.
  • Minimum of fifteen years of project experience in healthcare renovation, ground-up, and new construction.
  • Experience managing budgets of $15 million or higher.
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).
  • Registered Architect in the state of Georgia.
  • Associate degree.
