We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage water and wastewater projects throughout Massachusetts, with a hybrid work option based in Quincy or Woburn, MA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineering License.
  • 8+ years of specialized experience in Drinking Water distribution systems and Wastewater collection systems.
  • Extensive project management experience.
  • Previous experience in the consulting engineering industry.
  • Strong experience working with local clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to work both in the field and in office settings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct individuals or teams of technical staff or Project Managers on multiple complex projects.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills in project execution, client interactions, and business development.
  • Lead construction administration tasks including construction progress meetings, submittal reviews, and preparation of meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Review daily and weekly construction reports and prepare payment applications, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with field staff and designers, and manage project closeout and tracking construction schedules.
  • Assist in training, mentorship, and technical development of Project Managers and staff.
  • Consult with technical staff and Project Managers on technical issues and provide QA/QC reviews.
  • Recognize potential risks related to nonstandard technical matters or legal disputes.
  • Oversee technical accuracy of projects through regular communication with project staff.
  • Make technical presentations to clients and at public meetings.
  • Lead projects from development through completion, including QA/QC and risk management.
  • Act as a Public Relations Ambassador for the company.
  • Solicit new clients/projects and prepare proposals.
  • Participate in professional associations and conferences.
