This position will put you in the driver's seat to steer our transportation projects to success.   • Develop transportation strategy by collaborating with the executive team to outline and execute the firm's transportation plan.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive strategies for advancing transportation projects and services.
  • Accountable for client engagement and relationship building with local agencies.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, the organization, and regulatory bodies like the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
  • Responsible for project leadership and management by overseeing the execution of transportation projects.
  • Play a key role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing the transportation design team.
  • Perform financial oversight by monitoring project budgets and resources.
  • Contribute to financial planning for the transportation department and assess project feasibility.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for transportation projects.
  • Develop new clients and maintain existing clients by establishing personal working relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of transportation engineering technology trends.
  • Attend meetings, community, and industry events.
  • Follow/research industry trends and communicate back to the team.
  • Maintain client confidentiality of all project work.

  • Extensive experience in transportation engineering.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
