Senior Project Manager - Transit Rail
About The Position
AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail to be based in New York, New York area working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group. Job responsibilities include: Perform project management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies Responsible for administering the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement Manage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects Ability to coordinate closely with clients, contractors and project partners Project types includes Design-Build, Development of Bridging Documents and Design-Bid-Build Respond to client issued RFQ and RFPs, provide guidance to marketing for Transit Rail pursuits
Requirements
- BA/BS + 10 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Professional Engineer License
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Nice To Haves
- 15 Years of Experience with NY metro rail agencies including MTA, PA/NY/NJ and NJ Transit
- 10 Years of Experience in Design Project Management Role
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with coordinating systems design
