CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Senior Survey Project Manager in our Englewood, Colorado office.

Requirements

  • Colorado Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification/license required.
  • 20+ years of relevant and professional experience within a discipline, including proven performance as a Project Manager IV.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and lifecycle, industry standards, city, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Skills including leadership, communication, time, risk, quality and financial management, negotiation, and problem-solving required.
  • Ability to think strategically, adapt to competing priorities, execute and delegate, communicate and collaborate, and perform tasks with a high level of accuracy required.
  • Multi-state registration preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
  • Management experience leading Survey Crews is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient user of Autodesk Civil 3d, Carlson Survey, MicroStation and GeoPak, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven business development, team building, and operational skills.
  • Project delivery, technical experience, and industry relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize weekly budget report, project reports, accounts receivable (A/R) report, and staff utilization to manage projects and resources.
  • Prepare scope of work (SOW), Levels of Effort (LOE) and schedules for projects.
  • Ensure completion of the contract and subcontract review process through the Contracts Department.
  • Foster an environment for strong communication and collaboration.
  • Be responsive and accessible, anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and recruiting of project team members.
  • Supervise projects, survey technicians, and field crews required to complete survey projects.
