About The Position

As part of the BD/ZebraSci Combination Product Services team, the Senior Project Manager will serve as the main point of contact with key pharmaceutical clients and guide them through their combination product testing journey, ensuring delivery of high-quality services in accordance with client requirements, timelines, company SOPs, and regulatory standards. The Senior Project Manager will lead all activities around tracking milestones, capturing new needs, and ensuring client confidence through transparent communication and delivery excellence. Additionally, they will work within the ZebraSci organization to capacity plan, communicate resourcing priorities to team management, and manage multiple project plans simultaneously to ensure operational efficiency. The role is based in Branchburg NJ, but will also support clients across our Temecula, CA and Pont-de-Claix, France sites as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; major in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • 7+ years experience in combination products, medical devices, or related field
  • Experience in project management and/or client management
  • Ability to translate urgent customer needs into actionable activities and clearly articulate priorities to working teams and internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working within quality systems in a highly-regulated environment (FDA, DEA, ISO)
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the client's needs and company's mission

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • 10+ years experience in combination products, medical devices, or related field
  • Experience managing pharmaceutical client combination product program plans
  • Working knowledge of commonly prescribed combination product test methods, including USP, ISO, and ASTM procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager and primary point of contact for key critical client programs, ensuring delivery against contractual requirements and timelines
  • Work with Sales to understand prioritization of multiple client programs and clearly communicate priorities to the Technical Development and Operations managers
  • Provide structured governance through regular updates on project milestones, risks, and deliverables
  • Delegate technical inquiries and engage subject matter experts as needed to address client requests
  • Serve as liaison between key pharmaceutical clients and working services team
  • Capture and document evolving client needs, translating them into actionable plans for the laboratory team
  • Manage capacity planning tools to ensure line-of-sight to upcoming resourcing demands
  • Work to continuously improve efficiency in client communication, program tracking, and resource management
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functionally on technical solutions, recommendations, and problem resolution.
