About The Position

The Senior Project Manager position is in the Information Technology (IT) department with the responsibility for managing the execution of medium-to-large-scale security projects. The IT Project Manager - Security will oversee key initiatives within the Security Workstream of Project Polaris, including the implementation of Pathlock, the design and development of SAP S/4HANA security roles, and the reconfiguration of existing roles to align with audit and compliance requirements. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, understanding of SAP security principles, and collaboration across technical and functional teams. The Project Manager will ensure that all security-related deliverables are executed effectively, documented thoroughly, and aligned with program governance and organizational security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • 3 years of project management experience with IT software application implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, execute, control, and achieve closure of complex projects.
  • Experience with Organizational and Operational Change Management
  • Experience with a variety of project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile.
  • Experience in application security, role-based access control (RBAC), or GRC tools such as Pathlock, SAP Access Control, or similar.
  • Familiarity with audit and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, NIST, ISO).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and organization, project management and time management skills.
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira.
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as individual contributor on critical project activities.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the Polaris Security Track.
  • Oversee the implementation of Pathlock, ensuring integration with existing systems and alignment with security and compliance objectives.
  • Manage the design, build, and testing of S/4HANA security roles, ensuring they meet functional needs and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements.
  • Coordinate the review and reconfiguration of existing security roles to meet internal audit standards and external compliance obligations.
  • Partner with functional, technical, and audit teams to identify access risks and define mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder updates and report progress to the Polaris program leadership team.
  • Drive consistent use of project templates, RAID logs, and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and internal IT teams to ensure deliverables are on track and meet quality expectations.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
