The Senior Project Manager for the Bruin Connect and Secure program at UCLA is responsible for leading project delivery and managing relationships with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of IT projects focused on security. This role involves overseeing project plans, budgets, and resources while collaborating with technical teams to implement security measures across the campus.   • Lead project delivery for the Bruin Connect and Secure program.
  • Form strong business relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Execute program and project management deliverables for UCLA.
  • Manage comprehensive project plans and control project scope.
  • Direct project budget resources towards the completion of deliverables.
  • Work closely with technical teams to deploy and integrate security investments.
  • Anticipate and assess campus needs for information technology products and design services accordingly.
  • Track project progress and communicate risks and issues effectively.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Five or more years of experience in project management, information technology, data services, application services, or IT service management.
  • Experience in a project-based environment using leading project management practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Ability to anticipate and assess campus needs for IT products and services.
  • Working knowledge of technology-related initiatives and their organizational impact.
  • Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced organizational skills to balance competing priorities and deliver concurrent projects.
  • Seven or more years of experience in project management or related fields.
  • Experience in complex higher education environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in public administration or related fields.
  • PgMP, PfMP, Agile Scrum, LEAN Six Sigma, ITIL, or OCM certification.
