About The Position

Osaic is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Release Train Engineer to join our team in the Financial Services sector. The Release Train Engineer (RTE) will coach and support an agile 'team of teams' known as an Agile Release Train (ART). The RTE will focus on relentless improvement through Program Increment (PI) planning and execution, measuring delivery and flow of the ART, and tracking the execution of features and capabilities. This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week in the office, as Osaic has returned to a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

• 5+ years of understanding and experience with SAFe.
• Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
• Experience in supervising or leading teams; demonstrated ability to drive and influence peers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teams in agile principles and practices.
• Experience in leading and facilitating agile ceremonies.
• Experience fostering team self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (preferred).
• Experience using enterprise agile planning tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Planview Leankit/EnterpriseOne, Atlassian Jira Align, Broadcom Rally, Apptio Targetprocess).

Nice To Haves

• Agile, Scrum, SAFe or project management certifications preferred (e.g., SA, SPC, RTE, CSM, CSP, PMI).
• Background in wealth management or finance industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Increments (PI) by planning, organizing, and facilitating ART ceremonies such as PI planning, ART sync, product owner sync, scrum of scrums, ART system demos, and inspect & adapt sessions.
• Ensure successful execution of the PI, including tracking execution of features in the ART Kanban and ensuring the ART meets its definition of done.
• Encourage collaboration between teams, following the SAFe methodology and framework.
• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization.
• Establish ART flow measures and dashboards to ensure delivery, maturity, and performance.
• Oversee development of reports and analysis to track progress towards goals.
• Govern best practice usage of Azure DevOps (ADO) and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Facilitate agreement on milestones and cadence of increments and releases for the ART.
• Manage and coordinate ART and Solution dependencies.
• Work with business, product, and delivery teams to identify risks or impediments.
