About The Position
VMware by Broadcom (VMW by BC) Professional Services Organization (PSO) is looking for an experienced & motivated Senior Project Manager with a specialization in customer-facing projects on the Applications & Network Security Business Unit. PSO influences the success of all projects by advising, architecting, coordinating, designing, and implementing fully functional technology solutions that meet our customers’ business needs while delivering a superior customer experience. The Senior Project Manager position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration, leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving. You will be responsible for leading multiple customer engagements and projects that drive adoption and usage for VMW by BC's solutions, ensuring success from initiation to completion, and employing governance over all key aspects like scope, timelines, financials, risks, changes, resources, subcontractors, and others to achieve both high project profitability and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will partner with the customer and VMW by BC internal stakeholders like Sales, Technical Delivery Teams (Architects & Consultants), Business Operations, and others to manage the delivery of these projects within the scope, time, and other conditions agreed on the respective contracts/SOWs, helping customers to Active, Adopt, Expand, Transform, and/or Optimize the use of our Security (vDefend) and Load Balancing (Avi) products. The ideal candidate must be driven, with a proven track record in leading customer-facing software and technology projects, be able to work independently, hold a PMP or equivalent Project Management Methodologies certification, and also possess technical aptitude to acquire in-depth knowledge of products, services, and related technologies, enabling a better understanding and management of these types of projects. Ideal candidates are likely to work on projects that require security clearances. Candidates who have previously possessed such security clearances are highly desirable.
