About The Position

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives with significant executive visibility and business impact. These initiatives may include post-merger integrations, international operational efforts, systems implementations, strategic transformation programs, and other high-priority enterprise projects as assigned. Given the complexity and variability of each initiative, the Senior Project Manager must apply a diverse range of project management tools, frameworks, methodologies, and leadership approaches to successfully drive projects from initiation through execution and completion. This role requires a highly self-directed and proactive leader who can take a defined business objective and independently build the structure, alignment, and momentum needed to achieve successful outcomes. The Senior Project Manager is expected to operate with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and sound judgment while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 -7 years’ experience directing projects at large companies with international operations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health, or Medical discipline required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence - Required
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, and Outlook), project management tools (i.e Smartsheet), video conferencing, and other standard project tools - Required
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure on multiple simultaneous projects with tight timeframes - Required
  • Self-driven and able to drive efforts that are constantly changing and always working with new groups and processes.
  • Travel is expected to be less than 5% but may be required for some efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Consulting experience - Preferred
  • PMP or CAPM or equivalent certification – Highly Preferred
  • Graduate degree is Highly Preferred
  • Experience coordinating directly with senior executive leadership is a plus
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions related projects a plus.
  • Experience working remotely with internationally distributed teams.
  • Experience working directly with large operations teams.
  • Experience working in large software companies and with software development lifecycle management methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex, cross-functional, enterprise-wide projects with significant business impact, typically exceeding $500,000 per initiative.
  • Manage projects involving multiple business units, functional areas, and stakeholder groups. Ensuring coordination of project objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and accountability across teams.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status updates, executive summaries, and key communications to Senior Executive Leadership, including progress against milestones, project health, risks, mitigation strategies, and escalated issues requiring leadership attention.
  • Interface directly with various levels of organizational leadership, including executive sponsors, senior leaders, and functional management, to support project alignment, decision-making, and execution.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies, tools, governance practices, and delivery approaches based on the scope, complexity, and requirements of each assigned initiative.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, action logs, RAID logs, governance materials, and other project-related documentation, while also providing concise executive-level summaries as needed.
  • Facilitate effective communication, coordination, and collaboration across key functional areas, including but not limited to Sales & Client Engagement, Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Research & Development, Product Management, and Information Technology.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to support project execution, issue resolution, and organizational alignment.
  • Partner with the Finance organization to monitor, track, validate, and report on the financial impact, cost savings, synergies, or business value associated with assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers, Program Managers, and business leaders to manage project interdependencies, align timelines, and support enterprise-wide execution across related initiatives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, tools, industry standards, and emerging best practices, and apply relevant improvements to project execution.
  • Complete all responsibilities, objectives, and performance expectations as outlined in the annual goal plan.
  • Perform additional duties, special projects, and other responsibilities as assigned.
