As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing retail reroofing projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise in project management, strong leadership skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality results will ensure the successful execution of projects while meeting client expectations and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Lead and manage multiple retail reroofing projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and clients during the pre-construction phase to assess project requirements, conduct site evaluations, and provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope of work, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify and address any issues or challenges, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining regular communication and providing updates on project progress.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for additional services and upselling during the project.
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers, estimators, field staff, and subcontractors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Set clear expectations and performance goals for the project team, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and accountability.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between different project stakeholders, ensuring smooth project workflow.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, closely monitoring project costs and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Review and approve project-related invoices, purchase orders, and change orders in accordance with established processes.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting, providing updates on project financial performance to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control measures and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to implement and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety on all project sites.
  • Address any quality or safety concerns promptly, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a focus on retail reroofing projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering retail reroofing projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player attitude is a must.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
  • Ability to climb a 40-foot ladder and lift heavy objects.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to complete certification.
