Overall management of construction project resulting in successful project completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project staff, overseeing assignments, and assisting with hiring project staff. The role involves developing strategies to create a high-performing team through effective training, coaching, mentoring, and providing timely feedback. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, resource allocation, cost management, and core management procedures. They will own the completion of the project with full or enhanced fee and assist with prime contract negotiations. The Project Manager will also oversee project progress and performance, provide leadership, and regular updates to address issues or opportunities to keep projects moving. They will be the point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle and provide counsel on complex matters. The role includes overseeing job mobilization and start-up processes, ensuring role clarity among project teams, and keeping projects on schedule through effective project management practices. The Project Manager will organize and lead productive project meetings, foster collaboration, and manage conflict. They will oversee project turnover from estimating to project teams, ensuring a positive client experience, manage subcontractor partnerships, and oversee project cost management activities. The Project Manager will provide timely and accurate cost, forecasting, and productivity reporting to management, ensure positive project cash flow, and resolve any cost-related issues. They will develop and oversee the adoption of safety and quality procedures, direct preconstruction services, and participate in business development activities.
