Senior Project Manager, Map Production - Autonomous Vehicles

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager for end-to-end HD map production, a vital component in autonomous driving. An idea candidate should demonstrate strong project management experience with 2+ years in the mapping field, a solid understanding of SDLC and agile process, and extensive experience and willingness in working with remote team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management work, with over two years dedicated to the mapping sector
- Strong grasp of the software development life cycle and agile methodology
- Extensive experience working with remote team
- Strong desire to improve the status quo
- A self-starter that requires minimal supervision
- Great team player with excellent communication skills
Nice To Haves
- GIS background a great plus
- Relevant experience in HD mapping
- Steadfast drive to improve upon the current situation
Responsibilities
- Understand each stage of end-to-end HD map production process
- Monitor efficiency of end-to-end HD map production to ensure timely deliveries
- Identify blockers and bottlenecks, and work with various teams to resolve the issues in a timely manner
- Propose mapping quality/efficiency improvements, and ensure they are implemented according to priorities
- Report HD map production status on a regular basis
