We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in life science projects (pharmaceutical distribution), building infrastructure (electrical systems - UPS, Generators; switchgear; mechanical systems - air handlers, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, etc; lab equipment and moves - autoclaves, fume hoods, etc; Fire Life Safety Systems - Sprinkler systems, Controls, etc; and building envelope - roofs, pavement, parking structure, etc) to join our Project and Development Services team.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7-10+ years of relevant experience related to project or construction management required, preferably in Life Sciences or other highly regulated settings.
• 2-3 years as a senior project manager or similar is preferred.
• Familiarity with base building electrical, HVAC and mechanical infrastructure required.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects from project identification through completion.
• Ability to understand OSHA 1926 requirements and review OSHA safety logs for contractors.

Nice To Haves

• Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certification preferred.
• 10hr or 30hr OSHA - Construction certification a plus.
• Experience in Life Science, Healthcare or Industrial building construction project management.
• Certifications such as LEED, AIA, PE, PMP, and/or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead industry changing projects and execute complex project goals through agile and strategic leadership.
• Facilitate critical stakeholder meetings to discuss project deliverables (schedule and budget).
• Provide on-site project leadership and apply financial acumen to meet client goals.
• Contribute to the establishment and refinement of work quality, cultural initiatives and best practices.
• Manage client and vendor relationships for seamless conflict resolution and account maintenance.
• Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness and creativity to ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee and prepare accurate project documentation for all phases of construction.
• Manage adherence to financial plan, fee allocation and budget.
• Ensure allocation of proper resources to preserve account profitability.
• Focus on Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety in project planning and execution.
