About The Position

The Senior Project Manager - Land Development will be responsible for managing and delivering land development projects, which include stormwater management, grading, water/sanitary sewer, and erosion/sediment control design. This role requires leading project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet deadlines and budgets while overseeing quality control and ensuring compliance with regulatory agency requirements. The successful candidate will prepare proposals, scopes, budgets, and manage project financials, including invoices and receivables. Building and maintaining strong client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities is essential. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will mentor, hire, and train new staff to grow a high-performing civil/site development team and provide oversight and guidance on permitting and construction activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10+ years of site design experience in land development
  • Expertise in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrologic analysis, grading, and site development
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of city, county, and state land use processes and regulations (NC experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership, client management, and financial management skills
