  • Professional Engineering License: You are a licensed professional engineer in Michigan, or can obtain reciprocity within six months, holding a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a similar discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Experience: You bring 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, managing or serving as a technical lead on transportation projects with a construction value of $20M or less.
  • Quality Focus: You are dedicated to delivering industry-leading products, staying organized, paying attention to details, and ensuring effective quality control processes.
  • Client Partnership: You understand your client's goals, provide thoughtful options, advise on challenging decisions, and act as a reliable partner, proactively communicating to address challenges before they arise.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are well-versed in MDOT and Federal Highway Administration policies and procedures, with experience in OpenRoads, MicroStation, and/or Corridor Modeling programs.
  • Project Management: You maintain budgets, stay on schedule, and meet all deadlines and interim milestones, keeping projects on track.
