We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing State Government & Education team in Savannah, GA. (This candidate can also sit in our Peachtree Corners, GA, Augusta, GA, Jacksonville, FL or Columbia, SC offices but must be open to travel to the Savannah area). The ideal candidate possesses 15-20 years of Architecture and project management experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will help lead project management activities like project scoping/budgeting for proposals, building schedules, tracking hours/budget/schedule adherence, communication with clients, issues resolution, deliverable submittals and project closeout, while establishing strong relationships with clients, internal teams and management/stakeholders. The successful candidate will also help mentor and train junior-mid level project managers in developing project management skills. Design projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to project management. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through the stages of a project.

  • Lead project management activities including project scoping and budgeting for proposals.
  • Build project schedules and track hours, budget, and schedule adherence.
  • Communicate with clients and resolve issues.
  • Submit deliverables and manage project closeout.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and management/stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train junior to mid-level project managers.
  • Manage design projects across multiple markets and geographies.
  • BArch or MArch in Architecture Discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 10+ years of Architecture and Project Management experience, preferably in A/E/C consulting environment.
  • Must be a licensed Architect.
  • Experience in Higher Education is preferred.
  • Experience with relevant software.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
