About The Position

The Senior Project Manager for Healthcare Construction at Kraus-Anderson is responsible for directing and overseeing construction management activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors, to foster strong relationships and deliver successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years related work experience.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional work ethic and upholding company values.
  • Ability to provide guidance and feedback to team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of ViewPoint software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in proposal writing and review project proposals, drawings, and plans to determine time frames and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate pre-construction services for projects.
  • Direct strategic planning and provide leadership in business development and client relations.
  • Review project activities, costs, and operations to assess progress toward goals.
  • Assist the Director of Operations with project assignments and ensure timely completion and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and a positive company image.
  • Establish a network of business associates, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to promote Kraus-Anderson's capabilities and generate leads.
  • Maintain memberships in civic and professional organizations for personal growth and relationship development.
  • Outline work plans, assign duties, and coordinate project activities to ensure progress within budget.
  • Provide schedule support to project teams to maintain project timelines.
  • Prepare project reports for management and clients, modifying schedules as necessary.
  • Coordinate project activities with governmental agencies.
  • Meet regularly with Finance to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
  • Complete work in accordance with the KA Project Managers' Manual.
