We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Sr. Project Manager to join our team in Fort Worth, TX . Be a part of a dynamic group helping to nurture and grow the company's geotechnical capabilities across our footprint, while working on high-profile projects and continuing to develop the teams’ skills and abilities. As part of the growing Geotechnical team, you will provide valuable insight into the daily leadership and operations of construction and engineering. Therefore, expect to quickly delve into multi-discipline projects, laboratory analysis, foundation calculations, report writing, and many other engineering tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering
  • A Professional Engineering license is required
  • Diverse experience with a focus on problem-solving and diverse geotechnical analyses and challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the desire to learn quickly and succeed professionally
  • Willingness to travel to projects
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident

Nice To Haves

  • Preference is given to candidates with a graduate degree and 10 or more years of geotechnical engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and lead field investigations, engineering analyses, calculations, and recommendations.
  • Manage geotechnical explorations and investigations, including soils/materials testing and lab quality maintenance.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service and plan subsurface investigation programs.
  • Review construction drawings for compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and project progress evaluations.
  • Research and resolve design and construction challenges.
  • Review and evaluate laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports.
  • Communicate complex engineering issues and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
