The Senior Facilities Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering capital construction and deferred maintenance projects that shape and sustain UNLV’s physical environment. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Facilities Management and supports all Facilities Management (FM) projects related to design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of campus infrastructure, buildings, systems, common areas, parking facilities, and grounds. Projects are managed from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with the university’s Capital and Deferred Maintenance plans. The role requires close collaboration with FM trade experts and grounds staff, engineering staff, senior leadership, campus stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes. The Senior Facilities Project Manager provides leadership on large and complex projects, typically valued between $100,000 and $10,000,000, and offers supervisory oversight to junior project management staff. They contribute and support in long-term strategic planning and budgeting by collaborating with Facilities Management and Business Affairs leadership. They also ensure that projects comply with state requirements and university standards in delivering successful construction and maintenance outcomes.
