About The Position

The Senior Project Manager oversees the management of all activities associated with the assigned glass/cladding related projects including related shop, plant and site staff, suppliers and subcontractor’s responsibilities. They will engage in high-level communications with client, architect, main contractor, consultants and support staff towards the execution of timely, efficient, cost-effective works. The Senior Project Manager provides oversight and support for the work done by the Project Manager. Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with staff, projects and proprietary information. Support, mentor, and coach Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in their daily activities. Manage multiple projects at the same time. Act as the Project Manager if there is a need or absence. Ensure that architect's drawings, calculations and specifications are received on schedule and are confirmed as approved for construction. Oversee a working schedule which is satisfactory to the main contractor/client. Oversee the schedule of the project and ensure the technical department, factory, and site are all keeping up with the most updated version. Ensure that the quality department prepares all reports on material compliance including testing and certificates (if applicable) and to submit reports of all materials tested and approved by the customer. Ensure that all engineering / technical specifications, contract requirements are followed. Oversee project schedules and ensures compliance with contract conditions Ensure that all project matters are coordinated, and problems encountered during project proceeding during onsite installation, are addressed and rectified. Envisage installation/erection methods and equipment. Address, document, and resolve project issues in a timely manner to minimize risk to the organization. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years’ experience in a series of progressive engineering role(s) with demonstrably increasing scope of responsibility, with a solid track record of successfully delivering at least 5 projects and leading people required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or an Engineering-related degree required
