Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, construction management, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience managing infrastructure or energy projects
  • Experience with turnkey substation projects is a strong advantage
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, technical, and financial management skills
  • Experience with contract negotiation and risk management
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex power delivery projects
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and financial forecasts
  • Monitor project health using EVMS and ensure positive cash flow
  • Identify and mitigate risks while uncovering new opportunities
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage procurement and subcontracting
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Deliver clear, timely project updates to internal and external stakeholders
