About The Position
As a Senior Project Manager on the Perkins&Will Education team, your skills and passion will come to life through the following responsibilities. You will be responsible for leading all phases of the design process with a high level of proficiency and expertise while adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design. You will have full responsibility for managing all aspects of projects to ensure efficient execution within scope and budget. This role requires managing project teams, fostering collaboration, and demonstrating strong and effective communication and direction which inspires high team performance, design ideas, and successful project delivery. You will lead efforts in developing and validating project scope, fee, budget, and services during the marketing and contract development process. Additionally, you will be accountable for complete and timely communication of project information to and from clients and the project team. You will manage projects using the Deltek Project Management system, complete work plans, and monitor construction administration during the construction phase. You will also participate in marketing opportunities and develop successful client relationships for continuing business while controlling risk management by monitoring client issues and technical issues in a timely manner to minimize liability. Finally, you will mentor staff and coordinate staffing resources with the Operations Director.
