And our Corporate Real Estate team is on the front lines of procuring, designing and developing spaces at all our hubs, stations and city locations across the world. From airport affairs and business services to planning and development, this team is responsible for all our leases and major construction and renovation projects, system wide. Job overview and responsibilities The Senior Project Manager in Corporate Real Estate Planning and Development will oversee a portfolio of projects that range from small to large scale facility projects at hubs and line station locations, and small and large scale construction Programs from inception to completion in accordance with corporate policies and standards and governing regulations and requirements. In addition, this position will also oversee the design development of United's involvement of a multi-year, multi-Billion-dollar airport led development program. The position will manage at least one junior Project Manager, and manage a total portfolio anticipated to be up to 30-40 small projects ($100K – 2M) or large programs exceeding $100M. The leader in this role will be required to show a high aptitude for collaborating and coordinating with airport authorities, to ascertain, understand and collaborate with the airport staff on facilities or other airport infrastructure projects, and to ensure that the airline's interests are accounted for and addressed. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of successful projects by combining strategic thinking, business acumen and technical experience. In addition, this position will developing creative alternatives and supportive project justifications through stakeholder engagement, communication and option development. The Sr. Manager will manage vendored staff support overseeing project construction and administration, and will meet project metrics within approved business case cost and scope.
