The Senior Project Manager, Construction will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale data center projects. This role is critical in driving day-to-day execution, ensuring alignment between general contractors, vendors, and STACK's internal teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing fast-track, ground-up projects from inception through completion. This individual thrives in complex environments, can balance competing priorities, and has the leadership skills to motivate teams while delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Manage all phases of data center construction projects, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Serve as a key point of contact with general contractors, owner-direct vendors, and trade partners to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Track, forecast, and report on project financials and timelines; prepare variance reports and mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and coordinators; foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to internal leadership and external clients, ensuring transparency and consistency.
  • Identify, document, and proactively resolve issues that could impact project performance.
  • Promote and enforce STACK's culture of safety and high-quality standards on all job sites.
  • Partner with internal departments (Engineering, EH&S, Finance, Operations) to ensure seamless delivery and handover of facilities.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years on large-scale, fast-track builds (data centers strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Proven track record managing ground-up, core and shell, sitework, and fit-out projects ($100M+ preferred).
  • Client-facing experience with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software; Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM familiarity is a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail in cost tracking and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
