About The Position

We are Constructiv, a Generac Company, empowering your technology through mission critical infrastructure delivery. Our team has over 20 years of technical project delivery experience. During this period, we have established a standard for building the critical power and cooling infrastructure that supports data centers. As we continue to expand, Constructiv is building a pipeline of skilled construction professionals for future opportunities in the United States. While we currently do not have immediate openings, we want to connect with talented individuals in the data center construction industry who are open to exploring roles with us when the time is right.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of field and previous PM experience.
  • 5-8 years of Data Center Construction Experience.
  • 2-4 years of direct management of employees and subcontractors.
  • Experience leading a team in conflict resolution, motivation, teamwork, and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated mastery in all project management-related tasks.
  • Advanced understanding of cost estimating and construction techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Experience with the MSN Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat/Reader.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer, Project Management Institute certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple clients, ensuring satisfaction through every step of the project lifecycle.
  • Build on established client accounts, maintain current sales goals and identify potential future opportunities.
  • Ensure that the client is fully aware of the process, process deliverable expectations, and necessary decisions.
  • Create and manage the project team to deliver on client expectations for deliverables and communications.
  • Ensure consistency of deliverables to meet the Standard of Care.
  • Provide client and team leadership to drive project programming, design, budgeting and scheduling meetings.
  • Act as an escalation point for any customer-facing errors, implementing corrective measures.
  • Ensure clear goals and expectations are set for all PM team members.
  • Organize and conduct regular project team meetings to monitor design, documentation, and construction status.
  • Plan, organize and staff key positions and provide overall supervision and management of project(s).
  • Maintain the budget for the entire project and oversee the forecast.
  • Lead all problem-solving necessary to arrive at conclusions.
  • Prepare scopes of work, schedule requirements, subcontract value, and reviews for all subcontracts and change orders.
  • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of onsite personnel.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update master schedule in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Represent and advocate company operations, safety requirements, and policies with field personnel.
  • Ensure all reporting requirements for the government, subcontractors, owners, and the company are completed on time.
  • Select, coach, and develop staff, managing performance by recognizing achievement and providing feedback.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $120,000.00 - $185,000.00.
  • Eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
