About The Position

Senior Project Manager (Asia), Operations Experience Experienced Location Asia (South Korea, Japan) Business Cohen Veterans Network, Inc. Status Full Time – Exempt Grade 07 A Career with the Cohen Clinic The Cohen Clinic is part of Cohen Veterans Network, Inc. (CVN), a global nonprofit (501c3) integrated network of mental health clinics serving military families. CVN works to improve the quality of life for our clients, and our vision is to ensure that every military family member has access to high-quality mental health care to help them lead fulfilling and productive lives. The Cohen Clinic network in Asia offers a unique opportunity to serve U.S. military families stationed at five U.S. military bases in the region. If selected for this position, CVN would relocate you to Asia to support the management of clinics operating on base at Camp Humphreys (South Korea), Camp Foster (Okinawa, Japan), and other locations in South Korea and Japan. What you’ll do: We are looking to add a Senior Project Manager to our team. Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, Asia, you are responsible for directly supporting the set-up, daily management, and ongoing operations of the Cohen Clinics in Asia.

Requirements

  • Clinical licensure required – Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LICSW, or LCSW-C), Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Nurse Practitioner, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • 5+ years project management/operations experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge and experience in living and working in either South Korea or Japan
  • Knowledge and experience in administration, operations, legal, real estate, construction timelines and project management
  • Computer proficiency, experience in Smartsheet or project management software a plus
  • International travel required

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual fluency in either Korean or Japanese ideal
  • Knowledge and experience working with the Department of Defense
  • Veteran, Military Spouse, or experience in the veteran community a plus
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations, grant-funded project reporting, and budgets that include federal and foundation-based funding streams
  • Experience working in hospitals, community clinics, behavioral health agencies, or academic medical centers

Responsibilities

  • Support the VP of Operations – Asia in meeting all of the operational needs of the clinics
  • Maintain a close awareness of each clinic’s unique operations, budget, facilities, programs, staffing, data, and practices
  • Manage and coordinate meetings and reports to ensure information is tracked and shared in a timely manner
  • Track clinics operations data and creating data insight reports for leadership use
  • Conduct periodic site visits to all clinic sites (South Korea, Japan)
  • Operate as a bridge between the central office and Asia clinics ensuring the clinics have the full support and availability of network resources
  • Provide overall management, coordination, and support to the contractor, vendor, and AAFES teams during the clinic construction period
  • Manage relationships with brokers, general contractors, and facilities vendors.
  • Manage and coordinate projects to ensure work is completed timely, military base requirements are met, payments are made and tracked, insurance requirements are met, services are continuously evaluated, etc.
  • Coordinate, oversee and manage the selection and installation of furniture, signage, AV, security, plants, artwork, and general décor in all Clinic locations, ensuring that it meets CVN standards and reflects the CVN brand as well as the local community
  • Coordinate, oversee and manage all clinic facility requests and provide internal consultation (including but not limited to advice, troubleshooting and/or oversight) as needed
  • Manage, maintain and track insurance requirements
  • Monitor maintenance of all properties to ensure good condition and compliance with all building codes and safety of staff and clients
  • Manage all facility standards and risks
  • Manage and oversee all security activity within the clinics. Secure credentials for new employees and perform annual audits to ensure all users are current and active.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
