Job DetailsJob Location: Granger IN - Granger, IN 46530Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: AnyJob Category: DesignExperience / Education 10 – 20+ years of experience SPM – Architecture Bachelor of Architecture (5-year degree) or Master of Architecture National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) certification and architecture licensure Maintain professional development hours Excellent communication skills Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office Specific Job Functions Manage all phases of multiple projects, including design document creation, specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, constructability, and construction administration Establish and enforce design standards and ensure quality of design work of project team Research and maintain knowledge of building application methods and materials Research project-related laws, codes, and other jurisdictional requirements Provide technical guidance to design team: Review drawings and specifications Ensure designs are feasible, comply with regulations, and employ sound design principals Direct, coordinate, supervise, and mentor staff level team members Provide guidance and mentorship, conduct performance evaluations, and foster collaborative and productive work environment Oversee design meetings with internal team members and sub-consultants Manage and direct coordination and monitoring of sub-consultant services, including management of sub-consultant agreements, agreement changes, and payments Create and maintain design budgets and schedules Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress Observe and evaluate periodically on-site construction conditions to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications Review drawings from staff level team members Review Request for Information responses, addendums, and construction change directives Seek professional and leadership development training, from both internal and external resources, to foster professional growth and furtherance of team mission Act as direct Trusted Advisor for clients Assist in developing and reviewing contract documents Oversee project-related meetings and preparation of proposals and presentations for client review Understand client needs and requirements Provide expert advice and solutions Build relationships and connections through regular conversations and meetings Open to Fort Worth, TX #ZR

Requirements

  • 10 – 20+ years of experience SPM – Architecture
  • Bachelor of Architecture (5-year degree) or Master of Architecture
  • National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) certification and architecture licensure
  • Maintain professional development hours
