About The Position
As a Senior Project Manager in the Airports team at Olsson, you will play a pivotal role in managing large and complex airport projects, which may include paving, grading, buildings, airport lighting, and fuel systems. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of these projects, ensuring they meet the firm's standards and client expectations. You will lead cross-functional teams, determining the scope, complexity, planning, and scheduling requirements for each project. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring project quality through the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools, including conducting regular project reviews and audits. In this role, you will also be responsible for mentoring and training staff to uphold project management excellence. You will maximize the pursuit and delivery of major projects by collaborating with leaders across the firm, ensuring that all project resources, including staffing, budgeting, and procurement, are managed efficiently. Regular communication with stakeholders will be essential, as you will provide updates on project status and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Additionally, you will monitor project performance, tracking milestones and deliverables while utilizing project management technologies and best practices. Identifying and mitigating project risks will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will soliciting client feedback to enhance Olsson's service levels. You will also ensure compliance with safety requirements for project staff working on-site, thereby contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
