About The Position

Senior Project Management Specialist - Special Test Equipment (STE) Development Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the Electronics Program Management team in El Segundo, CA ! Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for cost, schedule, technical, and risk management for high reliability electronic unit special test equipment (STE) development and delivery. Develop and maintain Earned Value baselines and status to plan. Define required resources from space electronics engineering, operations, and supplier management to build cross functional unit level teams necessary to execute electronic units STE design, development, and delivery to operations and test engineering. Develop and manage, in collaboration with STE Engineering, STE NRE hardware and software schedules to meet Unit production requirements. Manage STE NRE Capital and Program direct funded projects cost and schedule. Perform STE sell-offs, project close-out, and document lessons learned for incorporation into future project plans and unit hardware roadmaps. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing and/or maintaining integrated schedules
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results
  • 1+ years of experience working with the planning & scheduling processes, cost analysis, and EVMS
  • 1+ years of experience performing in a leadership role
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves
