About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join their dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and is for 1st shift, requiring an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. The specialist will lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change-driven activities in accordance with project management industry best practices. Key responsibilities include leading studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments, and planning efforts to determine impacts and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives. The role also involves identifying risk and opportunity potential, developing mitigation planning, refining the business case, and establishing lead time requirements. The specialist will facilitate and ensure the integration of project/program plans, schedules, change, and baseline management processes. They will act as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives, directing all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion, and coordinating commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
  • 10+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a role requiring strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
