About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or additional relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of finance program control/contracts experience or comparable financial and accounting experience at a government contracting company.
  • Solid understanding of FAR and CAS.
  • Solid understanding of Revenue Recognition.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the financial and accounting field.
  • Strong analysis, forecasting and planning skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Unanet.
  • Experience working with either DoD or Intel Agency Customers.
  • Eligibility to receive a high level government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with financial clauses and contractual requirements throughout project implementation.
  • Oversee project set-up, billing, and revenue schedules in Unanet.
  • Prepare required cost and CDRL reporting, including EVMS and cost incurred status reports.
  • Create and maintain forecasts and budgets for FFP, CPFF, and T&M contracts to meet contractual project requirements.
  • Monitor and prepare reports on cost, profitability, and schedule variances to assist business operations.
  • Identify and track opportunities and risks in programs.
  • Review/approve funding for purchase requisitions on direct contracts.
  • Track subcontract cost & schedule status, material receipts, and open commitments.
  • Identify and process advanced spending/at-risk approvals.
  • Monitor AR/Unbilled (retainage, award fee, etc.).
  • Prepare reports of travel expense estimates in accordance with the FAR and Federal Travel Regulations for invoicing pre-approval.
