About The Position

The Sr. Project Engineer - Completions Equipment provides technical leadership for Weatherford's Global Completions business unit, focusing on design, manufacturing, and applications of downhole completion equipment. This role leads new product development for Upper Completions, Unconventional Lower Completions, and Gravel Pack Systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8+ years of verification/validation design experience
• Experience with downhole conditions, multi-part mechanisms, and hydraulic systems
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Solidworks, CREO, Pro-E)
• Knowledge of API standards (11D1, 19LH, 19AC, 19OH)
• Experience with FMEA and risk assessment methodologies

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years Oil and Gas Service Company completion tool design experience
• Experience with Gravel Pack Systems
• Master's degree in engineering or project management

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from concept through commercialization
• Develop technical specifications and detailed design proposals
• Conduct prototype testing to API standards
• Perform and interpret FEA and CFD analyses
• Coordinate with field personnel to evaluate new technologies
• Provide technical presentations to customers and stakeholders
• Mentor engineering personnel and maintain design documentation
