About The Position

PCI is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its PCI Denver 583 operations based in Aurora, CO. This individual will be responsible for the following duties: Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance Prepare RFI’s and submittals Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program Assist in other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in construction management is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
  • Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships.
  • Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Works well under pressure and deadline.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience managing specialty scopes of construction.
  • OSHA certification.
  • Local to Denver metro area preferred
