The selected candidate will support the Space Launch System (SLS) program, a critical heavy-lift launch vehicle that powers crew and cargo missions to the Moon and beyond, enabling groundbreaking exploration, science, and national security objectives. As the most powerful rocket ever built, SLS delivers larger payloads farther and faster within our solar system than ever before. Boeing’s Space Launch System team is responsible for the design, development, testing, and production of the core stage and avionics. As a member of the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team, you will lead and manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Success in this role depends on effective coordination and collaboration with Boeing teammates and NASA customers to develop and execute detailed project plans encompassing scope, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management. This position requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, comfort working across diverse cultures, and a passion for space exploration. As a systems engineer, you will apply standardized products, processes, and tools across subsystems to achieve program objectives.
