About The Position

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for its Salt Lake City 548 operations based in Salt Lake City. This individual will: Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance Prepare RFI’s and submittals Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program Assist in other duties as assigned Salary range: $88,300-$118,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program. This position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 4-7 years’ experience managing construction projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Possess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new skills by engaging in the technical job functions and applying new skills as they’re learned
  • Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines
  • Possess critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline
  • Experience with scopes of data center/semi-conductor, framing, external cladding, grid, RAF, mechanical and commercial insulation preferred
  • Experience managing specialty scopes of construction
  • OSHA certification
  • Local to Salt Lake City metro area
  • Willing to travel or relocate based on project needs
