About The Position

MSA has an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer Water in our St. Paul, MN office. This position supports Wastewater projects working primarily with municipal clients in the public sector. MSA supports clients through planning, design, construction, and operations. This position is Flex Time eligible and hybrid working arrangements are available. Flex Time is a program to recognize when a salaried employee works over 40 hours, such as if you work 42 hours one week, you have 2 hours added to your Flex Time balance to use in the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering required
  • 10+ years of prior experience with Water/Wastewater projects required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Client/contractor interaction and site visits may be required
  • Plan, design, develop, and optimize wastewater treatment systems
  • Support permitting, compliance, and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate with multiple MSA disciplines on projects
  • Solve real-world problems that impact communities
  • Work closely with other Water/Wastewater engineers as well as mentor emerging professionals
