About The Position

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to support our aviation projects and pursuits in the Southeast. ICE has a highly successful operation in Florida with numerous on-call contracts, and a healthy backlog of work. Relocation will be paid for qualified candidates. Hybrid of Office and Work from Home available.

As Project Engineer/Project Manager, the daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars
Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities
Supervise designers and CADD technicians
Performs and/or leads civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of the Aviation Service Director.
Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative
Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience with detailed knowledge of FAA standards is preferred.
• Senior positions are available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in design programs is preferred (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
• Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision with a focus on client service.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
