About The Position

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. seeks Senior Project Controls Manager PPS in Tampa, FL: Manage, revise, and maintain status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases of project execution from design/engineering, material/equipment procurement and deliveries, construction contracts through start-up activities and closeout. Track and analyze the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts. Analysis includes forecast to budget and estimate, forecast to actuals, and contingency analysis. Participate in the development and improvement of project controls systems. Assist in analyzing project control requirements as part of the bid review process to ensure all cost control requirements are incorporated into individual contracts and purchase orders. Assist in creating detailed project budgets from estimates and in the development of cash flow projections. Work with scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise, and update integrated detailed project schedules including all phases of project execution. Assist in early identification of long lead items, resource constraints, and required project start dates. Manage internal job costing in relation to the fee and services to be provided, resources required and all project reporting including job number, Project Status Report (PSR) and other company reporting policies. Produce forecasts of total project costs, annual costs, and monthly cash flow costs and provide variance analysis and explanations. Assist in forecasting engineering and construction resource requirements. Assist in coordinating engineering and construction activities in conjunction with overall project schedule requirements. Incorporate engineering and construction contractor schedules into overall project schedules. Ensure all contract deliverables and deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural), Construction, Quantity Surveying or the foreign equivalent and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Knowledge of: Scheduling and Project Planning; A/E and CM cost and/or schedule information; Developing budgets, cash flows, and schedules; ERP software; Planning & Scheduling software; Cost management applications software; Unifier Software; Project Risk Management; Cost Control & Forecasting; Earned Value & Cash Flow analysis; Creation/implementation of change procedures; End-to-end tracking and reconciliation of change orders; and, Cost Tracking.
  • National travel required approximately 10% of the time for meetings with clients.
  • May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States.
  • Remote working or telecommuting permitted in all U.S. States, in accordance with company policy.
