This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business.Job PurposeThe Project Controls team is accountable for the development, management, update, and analysis of project schedules and costs for a $1B+ portfolio of complex capital electric projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in any discipline – a degree in a STEM discipline, or one that focuses on construction engineering or project management is preferred
- 3-5 years of proven relevant experience
- Developing listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PP, Excel) is required
- Previous experience with data-oriented programming is preferred: SQL, Python, C++, etc. Computer programming experience of any kind, especially within the Microsoft environment (Visual Basic) is valuable.
- Proficiency in Power BI & BI Workspaces is valuable
- Previous utility project management and/or project controls experience is valuable
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze project data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
- Create and maintain project control databases and tracking systems.
- Analyze a broad variety of project data to evaluate and report on project performance, health, cost, and schedule KPIs
- Organize, coordinate, track, follow up on, and lead staff- and department- level meetings related to project development and approval
- Develop relationships and build networks within the Capital Delivery team; intake data and reporting requests, and build accessible, responsive, and creative solutions for our internal customers
- Build beautiful, engaging, reliable, and accurate dashboards within Power BI that deliver actionable insights to project teams and senior leadership
