About The Position

Parsons's is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Control Analyst to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will support multiple Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) under a Task Order umbrella on a high-visibility contract. Requirements

  • Solid understanding of government contracting indirect rate structures and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Project Controls or related work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth knowledge of federal government contracting principles, including FAR, DFARS, and JTR.
  • Familiarity with federal contract types (Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material).
  • Experience analyzing program cost, schedule, and impact, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new software, tools, and systems relevant to project controls and federal compliance.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos Reporting

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cost, schedule, and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analytical support to Program Managers and Lead Program Controller.
  • Develop time-phased forecasts, budgets, and draft basis of estimates.
  • Prepare and maintain project forecasts and status updates; report findings to TDL Leads and Lead PC.
  • Analyze and assess cost reporting, contract modifications, and funding status.
  • Apply knowledge of government financial terminology, concepts, and relationships.
  • Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
  • Participate in month-end financial close activities.
  • Conduct regular material and subcontract financial forecasting, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Accumulate and analyze historical data to inform future planning and forecasting.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
