Each and every role throughout our organization makes a difference in our ability to change the world for the better. HDR is looking for a Senior Project Architect to join our architecture practice. This person will be responsible for providing architectural expertise and mentoring, as well as delivering innovative architectural design for facilities across a variety of markets including civic, community, higher education, and science. This role includes the execution of design, layout, and detailing of architectural projects; coordinating and working closely with multidiscipline design teams throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration. Other duties may include: scope preparation, client and internal meetings, participation in design reviews, conducting schematic, design development, and construction document work sessions, reviewing architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines, writing/editing architectural specifications, and providing construction administration services. This individual needs to be creative, self-motivated, and possess strong communication and leadership skills with a passion to deliver excellence.
