Morris Adjmi Architects (MA) is an award-winning multidisciplinary design firm offering a comprehensive approach to planning, architecture, interior design, and art. Guided by a passion for placemaking, we’ve designed over 27 million square feet of built space in more than 25 cities throughout the U.S. and abroad. Our portfolio spans residential, hospitality, commercial, arts & culture, and institutional markets, with expertise in adaptive reuse, new construction, entitlement and zoning support, urban planning, interiors, and art services. Our architecture practice is shaped by MA’s Conversation-Driven Design Ethos, rooted in dialogue and collaboration. We believe the most meaningful buildings emerge through an exploration of context, balanced composition, and creative vision, blending tradition with innovation. This ethos drives us to create architecture that is timeless yet contemporary, grounded in rigorous detailing and sustainable technologies. By combining design sensitivity with technical precision, we craft buildings that stand out by fitting in—structures that enrich communities, endure over time, and tell a story. We’re seeking architects who see every project as an opportunity to shape meaningful places. The ideal candidate is both visionary and disciplined, someone who can synthesize design sensitivity with technical expertise to deliver projects of the highest caliber. You take ownership of ideas and lead with rigor, ensuring design intent is carried through to construction. You thrive in collaboration, engaging openly with colleagues, consultants, and clients to elevate outcomes at every stage. Most importantly, you bring authenticity and generosity to the studio, pairing leadership and mentorship with a genuine respect for the people and communities we serve. The Senior Project Architect works closely with Project Managers to execute project plans, oversee design and technical delivery, and mentor less experienced staff. Senior PAs tend to work on MA’s largest and most complex projects, balancing design sensitivity with technical expertise. They are trusted to manage client and consultant coordination, provide oversight of documentation, and serve as the primary point of contact for contractors during construction. In addition, Senior PAs may bring specialized expertise in areas such as QA/QC, accessibility, or other technical domains that strengthen the project team and elevate the firm’s capabilities.
