About The Position

Fishbeck is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join our growing Architectural Department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading the technical development of medium to large scale projects. This position includes the opportunity to get involved with a variety of project types, with a focus on the higher education, healthcare, R D, and civic/municipal.

Requirements

• Master of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture Degree from an accredited university.
• 10-15 years of experience, preferred.
• Licensure preferred.
• Experienced in developing projects using Revit.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BSD Spec Link is a bonus.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
• Very detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible.
• Ability to work well with others under demanding deadline situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing project work plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with the design team during programming and conceptual phases.
• Lead the technical team in preparing design development and construction documents.
• Coordinate with in-house engineers and outside consultants.
• Develop architectural technical specifications.
• Lead construction administration effort including observation, RFI and submittal review.
• Serve as project manager on small to medium projects if required.
• Assist with departmental duties such as updating technical standards and mentoring of junior architectural staff.
