About The Position

The Senior Program Manager supervises a team of Direct Support Professionals and Assistant Program Managers in our residential homes. You will provide training to our staff on our licensing & safety requirements. You will submit paperwork to our financial team and to the state to adhere to our 245D standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience within the human service or healthcare industry
  • A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
  • An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
  • A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
  • A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed above

Nice To Haves

  • A 4-year degree in Human Services or a related field plus at least one year of experience in the human service industry

Responsibilities

  • Interviews and hires direct care staff for each of our residential homes
  • Conducts one on one meetings with staff to provide support and feedback to them
  • Train our staff on our process & procedures on how to care for our people served
  • Completes and distributes Department of Human Service Reports to the county and state
  • Adhere to our licensing & training standards at Opportunity Partners
  • Manage the audit process for resident billing, accruals, house finances, and 245D paperwork
